When it is delivered to the property or on the property underground it is generally steel pipe wrapped for added protection and longer life span at times it can also be installed in a poly ethylene material or plastic but installed deeper due to added protection.

Gas pipe fuel is odorless but a solution is added to make the consumer aware if there is a leak at your gas pipes.

We also recommend that you keep an emergency shut-off valve wrench located at your gas meter in the event that you are comfortable in shutting off your gas meter supplying your property.

Generally your gas appliances located inside your property I.E... water heater,gas stove,gas fireplace and furnace should have individual emergency shut-off valves to help isolate the cause of a gas leak or to make any repairs to your appliances.
